School Philosophy


1. OUTSTANDING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT.


  • High overall standards and achievements and expectations by all staff members.
  • High standards encouraged in all areas of sport and physical education.
  • A philosophy within the school that encourages, promotes and rewards the achievement of excellent results in all areas of the Curriculum and community activities. The provision of a Literacy Support Person for children with special needs.

  • 2. HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL, EXPERIENCED AND DEDICATED STAFF.


  • All staff working at the school are committed to practical Professional Development programs aimed at improving student learning outcomes.
  • The willingness of all staff for developing and implementing important Department of Education and Early Childhood Development initiatives. Eg. Victorian Essential Learning Standards, Principals of Learning and Teaching, Assessment and Reporting, 'Early Years' literacy, Drug Education and GLIS (Gippsland Literacy Emprovement Strategies)
  • All staff express a willingness to communicate regularly and personally with parents in order to provide the absolute best learning situation for all the children.
