GENERAL INFORMATION

SCHOOL HOURS

Morning Session     9.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.
Afternoon Session  1.45 p.m. - 3.15 p.m.

If, for any reason, a variation of these times is necessary, written notification will be sent home. Please do not act on hearsay or verbal messages from your child.

SUPERVISION

Please note that the official times of school ground supervision are between 8.45 a.m. - 3.45 p.m. No responsibility can be taken for children who are in the school ground outside of these hours. Bus travellers will be supervised by a duty teacher.

ABSENCES

When your child returns to school after an absence, you are required to supply your child's teacher with a note giving reasons for the absence. Please contact the school if your child is attending the morning session of school but is not returning for the afternoon session.

BUS TRAVELLERS

It is most important that teachers are aware of any variation in your child's travel arrangements. The teachers are rostered for duty after school to see that every child is on the correct bus. Unless we are notified in writing (or by telephone in an emergency) we will make sure every child is put on his/her correct bus.

BICYCLES

Victorian law stipulates that all cyclists must wear helmets. Also, please ensure that your child knows and uses the correct procedures and road rules when riding on roads, especially on and near the main highway. Bikes are also not permitted to be ridden within the confines of the school ground, and must be placed in the bike racks during the day. We do not encourage children below 8 years of age to ride bikes to school, without adult supervision.
